The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

Study on Anomalous Hall Effect and Spin–Orbit Torque Effect of TbCo-Based Multilayer Films
The anomalous Hall effect and spin–orbit torque of TbCo-based multilayer films have been methodically studied in recent years. Many properties of the films can be obtained by the anomalous Hall resistance loops of the samples. We report on the effects of

Liquid biopsy‐based diagnostic evaluation of hypermethylated CpG sites for ovarian cancer diagnosis
This schematic outlines the workflow from biomarker identification to duplex MethyLight assay validation for epithelial ovarian cancer diagnosis using cfDNA‐based liquid biopsy. Initial screening of hypermethylated CpG candidates (cg02957270, cg10061138 cg00480298, COL2A1) was performed in tissue using ARMS‐PCR, COBRA, qPCR and image analysis. Selected

Some Weaknesses of “Weaknesses of Undeniable Signatures” [PDF]
The weaknesses that are the subject of [DY 91] have already been addressed in the published literature [C 90 & CvA 89]. The main class of these weaknesses consists of ways of cheating undeniable signatures; but these ways are shown here to themselves be "weak." Specifically, a cheater using them can double-cross the other cheaters, to the extent that ...

Weakening the nuclear envelope: Lamin B receptor in melanoma metastasis
LBR‐driven nuclear fragility supports melanoma invasion. A: Melanocyte presents low LBR (Lamin B Receptor) levels, maintaining nuclear integrity and lamina‐chromatin tethering. B: During malignant progression, upregulation of LBR clusters at the INM (Inner Nuclear Membrane) during confined migration causes local lamina weakening and cholesterol ...

Generalized empirical likelihood estimators and tests under partial, weak and strong identification [PDF]
The principal purpose of this paper is to describe the performance of generalized empirical likelihood (GEL) methods for time series instrumental variable models specified by nonlinear moment restrictions when identification may be weak.

Preparation and Transport Properties of Mn2.16Ga Single Crystal
In recent years, antiferromagnetic kagome materials have attracted considerable attention in condensed matter physics owing to their distinctive lattice geometry. In this work, high-quality single crystals of D019-structured Mn2.16Ga were grown using the

Drug resistance limits treatment success in a subset of lung cancers driven by ROS1 gene alterations. Using patient‐derived cells and computer simulations, we studied three key mutations and how they affect five targeted drugs. The mutations reduced drug effectiveness in different ways by altering protein structure and behavior.

Bootstrap and Higher-Order Expansion Validity When Instruments May Be Weak [PDF]
It is well-known that size-adjustments based on Edgeworth expansions for the t-statistic perform poorly when instruments are weakly correlated with the endogenous explanatory variable.
