Cytarabine is a key therapy for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), but its efficacy is limited by the dNTPase SAMHD1, which hydrolyses its active metabolite. Screening nucleotide biosynthesis inhibitors revealed that IMPDH inhibitors selectively sensitise SAMHD1‐proficient AML cells to cytarabine.

SDE WEAK APPROXIMATION LIBRARY (SDE WA) (VERSION 1.0) [PDF]
In application of mathematical finance to practical problems, weak approximation of stochastic differential equations (SDEs) is one of the most important themes. In probabilistic approach to this problem, the Euler-Maruyama scheme which is a first-order ...

Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

Nonexistence of solutions results for certain fractional differential equations
This paper is meant to establish sufficient conditions for the nonexistence of weak solutions to nonlinear fractional diffusion equation in space and time with nonlinear convective term. The Fujita exponent is determined.

A problem with dynamical boundary condition for a one-dimensional hyperbolic equation
In this paper, we consider a problem with dynamical boundary conditions for a hyperbolic equation. The dynamical boundary condition is a convenient method to take into account the presence of certain damper when fixing the end of a string or a beam ...

Targeted therapy was evaluated in SHH medulloblastoma using neuroepithelial stem cell (NES) and tumor‐derived NES‐like (tNES) models in 2D monolayers and 3D spheroids. PI3K, AKT, and CDK4/6 inhibitors had minimal effects in NES but markedly reduced viability and growth and induced apoptosis in tNES cells, revealing distinct therapeutic vulnerabilities.

Weak solutions for p-Laplacian equation
In this work we consider the p-Laplacian type parabolic equation with Dirichlet boundary condition and establish the existence of weak solutions using Leray–Schauder's fixed point theorem and semi-discretization process.

Weak solutions and optimal controls of stochastic fractional reaction-diffusion systems
The aim of this paper is to investigate a class of nonlinear stochastic reaction-diffusion systems involving fractional Laplacian in a bounded domain. First, the existence and uniqueness of weak solutions are proved by using Galërkin’s method.

A new old solution for weak tournaments [PDF]
This note uncovers new properties of the von Neumann-Morgenstern solution in weak tournaments and majoritarian games. We propose a new procedure for the construction of choice sets from weak tournaments, based on dynamic stability criteria.

KDM7A and KDM1A inhibition suppresses tumour promoting pathways in prostate cancer
Treatment resistance is a major challenge for patients with advanced prostate cancer. This study examined an alternative approach to target the major prostate cancer‐promoting pathway by targeting epigenetic factors, whose levels are higher in tumours.
