ABSTRACT Background Chronic micro‐inflammation in patients with end‐stage renal disease (ESRD) is a significant driver of cardiovascular complications and diminished quality of life. While standard hemodialysis (SHD) effectively manages small‐molecule clearance, its ability to remove medium‐to‐large uremic toxins—the primary catalysts of systemic ...

A limit theorem for partial weighted sums of regression residuals
Let a linear regression be given. We consider the polygonal line process of weighted least squares residuals. We prove a limit theorem in Hoder spaces for this process. This extends the results of Jandhyala and MacNeill, Bischoff, Račkauskas.

ABSTRACT Introduction This final analysis of a multicenter, prospective postmarketing surveillance study evaluated the safety of daprodustat in patients with chronic kidney disease anemia in routine clinical practice in Japan. Methods Patients who initiated daprodustat between September 2020 and July 2022 were registered.

Summation of Multiple Fourier Series in Matrix Weighted -Spaces
This paper is concerned with rectangular summation of multiple Fourier series in matrix weighted -spaces. We introduce a product Muckenhoupt condition for matrix weights and prove that rectangular Fourier partial sums converge in the corresponding ...

ABSTRACT Background Japan has one of the highest dialysis prevalence rates worldwide and a shrinking, aging population. Whether dialysis burden has entered a sustained post‐peak phase or whether recent declines partly reflect pandemic‐related disruptions remains uncertain.

Exact Results for the Distribution of Randomly Weighted Sums
Dependent random variables play a crucial role in various fields, from finance and statistics to engineering and environmental sciences. Often, interest lies in understanding the aggregate sum of a collection of dependent variables with random weights ...

Sum and Weighted Sum Formulas for Fibonacci and Lucas Quaternions
Fibonacci and Lucas quaternions are deeply studied in the literature after its definition by Horadam in 1963. Binet formula, generation function, Cassini, Catalan, Honsberger, and other identities for these sequences studied in different quaternion algebra types like split quaternion algebra, dual quaternion algebra, etc.

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Some Addition Theorems for Spin-Weighted Spherical Harmonics
We present some addition theorems for spin-weighted spherical harmonics, generalizing previous results for scalar (spin-zero) spherical harmonics. These addition theorems involve sums over the azimuthal quantum number of products of two spin-weighted ...

A Strong Law of Large Numbers for Weighted Sums of i.i.d. Random Variables under Capacities
With the notion of independent identically distributed (i.i.d.) random variables under sublinear expectations initiated by Peng, a strong law of large numbers for weighted sums of i.i.d. random variables under capacities induced by sublinear expectations
