Loss of proton‐sensing TDAG8 increases tumor progression in mouse models of colon cancer
Loss of the pH‐sensing receptor TDAG8 accelerates colorectal cancer progression in mice. Animals lacking TDAG8 expression had increased tumor growth, DNA damage, and recruitment of tumor‐associated immune cells, including macrophages, neutrophils, and monocytes.

Breast cancer remains a major cause of cancer death in women, frequently developing endocrine therapy resistance. This study demonstrates that upregulated p21‐activated kinase 1 (PAK1) activity drives resistance to tamoxifen and long‐term estrogen deprivation in ER+ breast cancer models.

Strong uniform laws of large numbers for bootstrap means and other randomly weighted sums
This article establishes novel strong uniform laws of large numbers for randomly weighted sums such as bootstrap means. By leveraging recent advances, these results extend previous work in their general applicability to a wide range of weighting ...

Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

Control Charts Based on Weighted Sums
In a continuous production process, samples of fixed size are taken at regular intervals of time and a statistic $X_n$ is computed from the $n$th sample, $n = 1,2, \cdots$. In this paper, we study process inspection schemes which stop the production and take corrective action with $N = \text{first} n \geqq 1$ such that $\sum^n_{i=1} c_{n-i} X_i \geqq h$

Complete Convergence and Some Maximal Inequalities for Weighted Sums of Random Variables [PDF]
Let be a sequence of arbitrary random variables with and , for every and be an array of real numbers. We will obtain two maximal inequalities for partial sums and weighted sums of random variables and also, we will prove complete convergence for ...

Confidence intervals for weighted sums of poisson parameters
Directly standardized mortality rates are examples of weighted sums of Poisson rate parameters. If the numbers of events are large then normal approximations can be used to calculate confidence intervals, but these are inadequate if the numbers are small.

PARP inhibitors induce a senescence phenotype in non‐small cell lung carcinoma cell lines
Talazoparib is the most potent inducer of senescence among different PARP1 inhibitors in human NSCLC cells. In the absence of PARP, no senescence phenotype was observed, demonstrating that PARP1 is necessary for the induction of senescence by this inhibitor.
