Molecular characterization of covRS mutations in M1UK Streptococcus pyogenes

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Group A Streptococcus (GAS) acquires covRS mutations driving a hypervirulent bacterial state, frequently associated with invasive disease‐like necrotizing fasciitis. We demonstrate that the newly emerged M1UK GAS lineage can also acquire these mutations.

MagmaFlow: A desktop platform for artificial intelligence‐driven expression analysis

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
MagmaFlow is a free, no‐code platform for gene expression analysis. It generates interactive volcano plots, links genes to literature, pathways, and diseases, prioritizes candidates using millions of publications, identifies affected biological processes, builds network diagrams, and exports publication‐ready figures and reports for macOS and Windows ...

A Fractional-Order Model Predictive Control Strategy with Takagi–Sugeno Fuzzy Optimization for Vehicle Active Suspension System

open access: yesFractal and Fractional
Aiming at the problem of system controller performance failure caused by improperly setting the value of each weighting coefficient of the model predictive control (MPC), a fractional-order MPC strategy with Takagi–Sugeno fuzzy optimization (T–SFO MPC ...

Reflection Coefficients for the Generalized Jacobi Weight Functions

open access: yesJournal of Approximation Theory, 1994
Let \(w(t)= f(t) \prod^ N_ 1 | e^{it}- e^{it_ j}|^{\gamma_ j}\) be a generalized Jacobi weight on the unit circle, where \(\gamma_ j> -1\) and \(h\) is a smooth differentiable function. Consider the orthonormal polynomials \(\{\Phi_ n\}\) associated with \(w\) and the so-called reflection coefficients \(\Phi_ n(0)\) for them.

Explicit weighting coefficients for predicting ARMA time series from the finite past

open access: yes, 1991
Explicit formulas are given for the weighting coefficients in the linear minimum variance predictor of a wide sense stationary autoregressive-moving average time series k steps ahead, given n + 1 successive observations of a realization of the process ...

Spinal Cord Infarction Versus Idiopathic Transverse Myelitis: Clinical, Radiological, and Functional Insights From a Retrospective Cohort Study

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction Spinal cord infarction (SCI) is a rare but devastating myelopathy, characterized by a high disability rate and an unfavorable prognosis. It has often been underdiagnosed and misdiagnosed as idiopathic transverse myelitis (ITM). This study aimed to describe the clinical features, radiological biomarkers, treatments, and functional ...

Helical Gear Defect Detection System Based on Symmetrized Dot Pattern and Convolutional Neural Network

open access: yesIEEE Access
This study proposes a helical gear defect detection system based on Symmetric Dot Pattern (SDP) and Convolutional Neural Network (CNN). By converting the collected time-domain signals into SDP images and processing them with different delay coefficients ...
