Synchronization of mobile robot's actuated wheels
SPIE Proceedings, 2015Quintic Bezier splines are capable of dynamic adaptive path changes in curvature continuous fashion. This paper presents a general purpose method for synchronizing the turning and steering rates of a mobile robot’s wheels according to a given velocity profile when traversing a quintic Bezier spline or some other differentiable parametric curve.

Networked control of Wheeled Mobile Robots
2013 First RSI/ISM International Conference on Robotics and Mechatronics (ICRoM), 2013This paper proposes a design approach to synthesis static state-feedback controller for Wheeled Mobile Robots (WMRs) controlled via a wireless communication networked. Variable delays considered in the Networked Control System (NCS) model to represent both of the data packet latency and dropout.

Design a Transformable Wheel for Enhancing Mobility of 4-Wheeled Mobile Robot
Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2015This paper proposes a design of transformable wheel for enhancing mobility. Mobility evaluation is performed by mechanical theories as stability margin and obstacle overcoming and its calculating methods are used for simulations. A feasibility of suggested transformable wheel is investigated by simulations.

Fuzzy Control for Wheeled Mobile Robots
2018A unicycle mobile robot is an autonomous, wheeled vehicle capable of performing missions in fixed or uncertain environments. Mobile robots have attracted considerable interest in the robotics and control research community because they posses nonholonomic properties caused by nonintegrable differential constraints.

Motion control of wheeled mobile robots
2016This chapter may be seen as a follow up to Chap. ??, devoted to the classification and modeling of basic wheeled mobile robot (WMR) structures, and a natural complement to Chap. ??, which surveys motion planning methods for WMRs. A typical output of these methods is a feasible (or admissible) reference state trajectory for a given mobile robot, and a ...
