Ixazomib inhibits proteasome‐mediated degradation of topoisomerase I induced by irinotecan, thereby restoring drug sensitivity and promoting tumor cell death in colorectal cancer. Irinotecan, a topoisomerase I (topoI) inhibitor, is widely used for colorectal cancer, but resistance remains a major clinical challenge.

Radiotherapy (RT) response depends on the DNA repair capacity of tumor and host cells. We show that circulating tumor cell (CTC) counts and apoptosis rates before and after RT predict treatment response and outcome, which can be accessed via easily accessible liquid biopsy approaches. Turbulence Length Scales in a Boundary Layer Wind Tunnel
Turbulence length scales are important parameters affecting the aerodynamic characteristics and response of structures in wind flow. It is therefore essential to simulate the wind velocity profile models in scaling these turbulence length scale ...

A urine‐based digital PCR assay targeting two hotspot TERT promoter variants detected bladder cancer with high sensitivity and no false positives in this case–control cohort. The streamlined AbsoluteQ workflow outperformed Sanger sequencing and supports non‐invasive molecular testing for bladder cancer detection.

Effects of wind-induced tall building vibrations on a tracking task
Motion simulator experiments were conducted to study tracking task performances in 12 low frequency fore-aft sinusoidal motion conditions that comprise low, medium and high acceleration amplitudes (8, 16 and 30 mG) and 4 frequencies 0 .125, 0.25, 0.5 and

Loss of IGF‐1R impairs DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin leading to defective end‐joining
IGF‐1R promotes radioresistance by facilitating DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin, enabling non‐homologous end‐joining (NHEJ) repair of double‐strand breaks. Inhibition or loss of IGF‐1R disrupts this recruitment to damage sites, driving compensatory reliance on microhomology‐mediated end‐joining (MMEJ) repair.

Air pollutant dispersion around a high-rise building : CFD simulation and experimental validation
In order to measure the air ventilation in an urban environment, particularly the wind-assistant pollutant dispersion, we suggested a digital wind tunnel based on CFD technology.
