Connect or detach: A transformative experience for medical students in end‐of‐life care
Abstract Context At the beginning of clinical practice, medical students face complex end‐of‐life (EoL) decisions, such as limiting life‐sustaining therapies, which may precipitate emotionally charged moral dilemmas. Abstract In this ‘When I say …’ article, the authors argue for a conceptual shift in how health professions education understands and responds to sexual misconduct. We contend that sexual misconduct is frequently narrowly defined, individualised and downplayed in ways that obscure its systemic nature and limit meaningful action.
