(E)-1-(2,4-Dinitrophenyl)-2-(3-ethoxy-4-hydroxybenzylidene)hydrazine
The molecule of the title hydrazine derivative, C15H14N4O6, is essentially planar, the dihedral angle between the substituted benzene rings being 2.25 (9)°. The ethoxy and hydroxy groups are almost coplanar with their bound benzene ring [r.m.s. deviation

Crystallization and preliminary X-ray crystallographic analysis of tyrosinase from the mushroom Agaricus bisporus [PDF]
Tyrosinase catalyzes the conversion of tyrosine to dihydroxyphenylalanine quinone, which is the main precursor for the biosynthesis of melanin. The enzyme from Agaricus bisporus, the common button mushroom, was purified and crystallized in two different ...

The mammalian TGFβ interacts with ubiquitously expressed TGFBR1 and TGFBR2, and current TGFβ‐targeting agents are non‐cell‐selective. The cooperative interaction of the modular parasite TGFβ antagonist with multiple host (co‐)receptors empowers the design of TGM chimeras and bispecific antibodies that activate or inhibit TGFβ signaling in a cell ...

A Catalytic Osmium Redox Couple Collapses Cancer Redox Balance
A stable Os(III)/Os(IV) redox couple is developed to disrupt the tumor cell redox balance by concurrently catalyzing ROS generation and GSH depletion. Osmium‐treated cells exhibit multiple cell death pathways, including apoptosis, ferroptosis, and immunogenic cell death.

RNA structural profiling of Turnip Yellow Mosaic Virus by DMS‐MaPseq and DREEM analyses uncover that viral genome‐wide RSS is highly complicated and heterogeneous, with alternative RSSs widely distributed across the genome. Notably, the viral 3’ tRNA‐like structure adopts alternative conformations in vivo.

Proposed mechanism for Fe3+ transport from the FoC (sites 1 and 2) of human H‐chain ferritin following oxidation of the di‐Fe2+ form. Glu61, aided by the flexibility of its sidechain, plays a key role in coordinating Fe3+ at three sites (3, 4 and 5) that mark out the transit route.

Topologically Structured PLLA Fibers With Stress Concentration Effects for Health Monitoring
In this study, a multi‐path strategy was developed to enhance the piezoelectric properties of PLLA fibers through the stress concentration effect. The optimized devices generate piezoelectric output up to 14 times that of pure PLLA fibers. This piezoelectric enhancement strategy offers a new approach for high‐performance piezoelectric devices, with ...
