Analisa Difraksi Sinar-X pada Baja Tahan Karat Austentitik dan Feritik (Uji Laboratorium)

open access: yesJournal of Dentistry Indonesia, 2015
X- rays with wavelength in the range 0,5 to 2,5 Å, have a very short wavelength compare to the visible light wavelength in order of 6000 Å. Therefore, x-rays can be used for determination of the finest structure of materials by using the x-rays ...

Analysing the significance of small conformational changes and low occupancy states in serial crystallographic data

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

Electronic catalogue of muonic X-rays

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2018
μX-ray spectra for Z=9-90 were measured with HPGe detectors and muonic beams of PSI (Villigen, Switzerland) [1]. The results are presented as electronic atlas composed of graphic plots. The atlas is available at JINR site [2].

Optimizing photoactivation of PA‐mCherry for optical pooled CRISPR screens

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Photoactivatable PA‐mCherry finds widespread use to optically tag individual cells. However, confocal 405 nm UV laser‐scanning (normal scan) is much less efficient than widefield UV illumination, limiting the use of PA‐mCherry on confocal instruments. We remedy this limitation by reporting that rapid and repeated confocal scanning with a low‐intensity,

Raios-x: fascinação, medo e ciência X-rays: fascination, fear and science

open access: yesQuímica Nova, 2009
This work presents the discovery and the use of x-rays at the end of the XIXth and the beginning of the XXth century. X-rays greatly impacted science and everyday life. Their existence broke the idea that knowledge had reached a limiting step. In general,

Refinement of amino‐acid conformation vs. difference density maps in time‐resolved serial femtosecond crystallography data analysis

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
The dFoCC pipeline starts with observed DED and resting‐state coordinates, which are then used to generate a library of triggered states. Correlation analysis of the calculated DED features of each candidate vs observed DED permits quantitative evaluation of candidate structural quality.

Surveillance as X-ray

open access: yesInformation Polity, 2012
This article reflects on an emerging academic perspective of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) which places a consideration of ‘surveillance’ at the heart of its analysis. It is argued, that a new ‘surveillance perspective’ is becoming more prominent and that this perspective offers new and ...

UiO‐66 metal–organic frameworks in biomedicine: From structural tunability to bioimaging, photodiagnostics, and photodynamic cancer therapy

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
UiO‐66(Zr) metal–organic frameworks are chemically stable, biocompatible, and highly tunable nanomaterials. Their modular structure enables controlled drug delivery, multimodal bioimaging, and light‐activated photodynamic therapy, supporting integrated diagnostic and therapeutic (theranostic) applications in cancer and biomedical research.
