An MLSA-based online scheme for the rapid identification of Stenotrophomonas isolates [PDF]
An online scheme to assign Stenotrophomonas isolates to genomic groups was developed using the multilocus sequence analysis (MLSA), which is based on the DNA sequencing of selected fragments of the housekeeping genes ATP synthase alpha subunit (atpA ...

Isolation and identification of bacteria isolated from cabbage seeds in the Ulyanovsk region [PDF]
Bacteriosis caused by the bacterium Xanthomonas campestris is considered one of the most dangerous for cultivated plants. The problem is particularly sharp during favorable agricultural seasons for the development of pathogens.

Extracellular proteases from Xanthomonas campestris pv. campestris, the black rot pathogen [PDF]
Two proteases (PRT1 and PRT2) were fractionated from culture supernatants of wild-type Xanthomonas campestris pv. campestris by cation-exchange chromatography on SP-5PW. Inhibitor experiments showed that PRT 1 was a serine protease which required calcium ions for activity or stability or both and that PRT 2 was a zinc-requiring metalloprotease.

Characterization of the hrpF Pathogenicity Peninsula of Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae
The hrp gene cluster of Xanthomonas spp. contains genes for the assembly and function of a type III secretion system (TTSS). The hrpF genes reside in a region between hpaB and the right end of the hrp cluster.
