Minimal zero-sum sequences in Cn⊕Cn
Minimal zero-sum sequences of maximal length in Cn⊕Cn are known to have 2n−1 elements, and this paper presents some new results on the structure of such sequences. It is conjectured that every such sequence contains some group element n−1 times, and this ...

A Stopping Game on Zero-Sum Sequences
We introduce and analyze a natural game formulated as follows. In this one-person game, the player is given a random permutation $A=(a_1,\dots, a_n)$ of a multiset $M$ of $n$ reals that sum up to $0$, where each of the $n!$ permutation sequences is equally likely. The player only knows the value of $n$ beforehand.

We investigate the convergence analysis of the following general inexact algorithm for approximating a zero of the sum of a cocoercive operator A and maximal monotone operators B with D(B)⊂H: xn+1=αnf(xn)+γnxn+δn(I+rnB)-1(I-rnA)xn+en, for n=1,2,…, for ...

The Ile181Asn variant of human UDP‐xylose synthase (hUXS1), associated with a short‐stature genetic syndrome, has previously been reported as inactive. Our findings demonstrate that Ile181Asn‐hUXS1 retains catalytic activity similar to the wild‐type but exhibits reduced stability, a looser oligomeric state, and an increased tendency to precipitate ...

On Generalized One-kZero Numbers
In this study is introduced a novel generalization of repunit and one-zero numbers through the formulation of the generalized One-kZero. This sequence extends the classical families of repunit and one-zero numbers by establishing a unified framework in ...

Massive MIMO with multi-cell MMSE processing: exploiting all pilots for interference suppression
A new state-of-the-art multi-cell minimum mean square error (M-MMSE) scheme is proposed for massive multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) networks, which includes an uplink MMSE detector and a downlink MMSE precoder.

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

Inositol pyrophosphates are energy‐rich signaling molecules that perform critical functions in cells. Three different families of phosphatases hydrolyze the β phosphate of the inositol pyrophosphate molecules: two have narrow specificities and one is promiscuous.
