A new ZTD model based on permanent ground-based GNSS-ZTD data

Survey Review, 2016
Tropospheric delay has a major effect on the accuracy of navigation and positioning when using the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS). Zenith tropospheric delay (ZTD) modelling has been used to weaken the influence of the atmosphere. The work reported here focused on ZTD modelling based on real-time surface meteorological parameters ...

A segmented function-based model for ZTD estimation over China

Third International Conference on Remote Sensing, Mapping, and Geographic Information Systems (RSMG 2025)
Tropospheric delay is a key error source in high-precision GNSS positioning and atmospheric sensing. However, conventional models using a single functional expression fail to capture the non-uniform vertical variation of delay, especially in the lower ...

Assessing long-term ZTD trends for climate

2023
In this presentation we showcase results of an ongoing effort to assess long-term ZTD trends for eventual use in climate models, either for assimilation or validation. We have been analyzing the ZTD time series estimated from six REPRO3 IGS Analysis Centers (ACs), namely, COD, ESA, GFZ, GRG, JPL, TUG, to compare their long-term trends.
