Profiling cocaine by ATR–FTIR

Forensic Science International, 2015
In this article, five hundred and thirteen cocaine seizures of the State of Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil) were analyzed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) in the fingerprint region (1800-650 cm(-1)) to profiling and evaluate the pharmaceutical products used as adulterants.

How ATR turns on: TopBP1 goes on ATRIP with ATR.

Genes & development, 2008
In this issue of Genes & Development, Mordes and colleagues (pp. 1478-1489) reveal intriguing mechanistic insights into activation of the ATR (ATM and Rad3-related) kinase critical for DNA damage resistance. They identify conserved regulatory domains within ATR and its binding partner ATRIP (ATR-interacting protein), which are contacted by the ATR ...

Targeting ATR for Cancer Therapy: ATR-Targeted Drug Candidates

2018
ATR inhibitors are a new class of anti-cancer compounds reaching early phase clinical trials. They are predicted to have anti-cancer activity as monotherapy, and in combination with DNA damaging chemotherapies and ionizing radiation. We outline the clinical trials in progress using the current clinical candidates VX-970 (M6620) and AZD6738, discuss ...

Targeting ATR in patients with cancer

Nature Reviews Clinical Oncology
Pharmacological inhibition of the ataxia telangiectasia and Rad3-related protein serine/threonine kinase (ATR; also known as FRAP-related protein (FRP1)) has emerged as a promising strategy for cancer treatment that exploits synthetic lethal interactions with proteins involved in DNA damage repair, overcomes resistance to other therapies and enhances ...

ATR Applications in Military Missions

2007 IEEE Symposium on Computational Intelligence in Security and Defense Applications, 2007
While there has been a nominal effort to develop automatic target recognition (ATR) technologies for military systems for the last couple of decades, there have been relatively few significant breakthroughs. At the same time, the evolution of some of our missions has made it more desirable to achieve solutions from this technology to meet some of the ...

ATR in Polish

Journal of Slavic linguistics, 2007
The feature [ATR] is usually used exclusively for the description of vowels. In this article, it is argued that phonotactic constraints in Polish indicate that [ATR] may be a useful dimension in the description of consonants. Under this assumption we are able to offer a straightforward and phonetically motivated account of the discussed phonotactic ...
