(rose red) strikingly reduced the minimum inhibitory concentration of beta-lactams in methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus. We isolated two compounds that reduced the minimum inhibitory concentrations of beta-lactams from the extract, tellimagrandin I and rugosin B.
