在中国云南省西双版纳地区首次利用无人机技术野外救护一头受伤野生印度野牛。详细介绍了在无人机上安装麻醉吹管,采用无人机监测、寻找受伤野牛并对其进行远程麻醉,以及该野牛获救后无人机对其进行持续监测等过程。总结这一成功案例,我们认为无人机技术值得在大型哺乳动物,特别是攻击能力强的大型哺乳动物的野外监测和救护中进一步应用。
