In silico study for evaluating the binding mode and interaction of 1, 2, 4-triazole and its derivatives as potent inhibitors against Lipoate protein B (LipB)

open access: yes, 2020
Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease caused by bacterium specie known as Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Emergence of multi-drug resistant strains of M. tuberculosis led to the development of new and more potent anti-tuberculosis agents. A novel series

4D‐Printed Spin Crossover Metamaterials with Giant Programmable Positive or Negative Thermal Expansion

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Spin crossover composite filaments are implemented for the rational design of 4D‐printed mechanical metamaterials. The obtained bi‐material structures guided by a theoretical analysis based on analytical calculations and Finite Element Analysis simulations exhibit giant programmable positive or negative deformation with coefficients of thermal ...

Regioselectivity in the Thermal Rearrangement of Unsymmetrical 4-Methyl-4H-1,2,4-triazoles to 1-Methyl-1H-1,2,4-triazoles

open access: yesMolecules, 2001
The rearrangement of 4-methyl-3,5-diaryl-4H-1,2,4-triazoles to the corresponding 1-methyl-3,5-diaryl-1H-1,2,4-triazoles showed regioselectivity comparable to that observed for the alkylation of 3,5-diaryl-1H-1,2,4-triazoles.

Gas separation properties of a thermally stable and chemically resistant polytriazole membrane [PDF]

open access: yes, 1989
The polymer poly (1,3-phenyl-1,4-phenyl)-4-phenyl-1,3,4-triazole has been investigated for its gas separation properties. This thermally stable and chemically resistant polymer can be processed into membranes by the phase-inversion technique because of ...

High‐Power Rapid Laser‐Induced Synthesis of Multi‐functional Cobalt Metal‐Organic Framework With an Unprecedented Synthesis Efficiency

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Laser‐assisted synthesis enables rapid (within 1 h) and high‐yield (≥90%) production of Co‐MOFs with mesoporous structures, tunable magnetic and optical properties, and efficient adsorption of N2, CH4, and CO2 for low‐energy gas separation. DFT calculations elucidate the electronic structure and adsorption behavior.

Azetidinylideneketenimines as a Multimodal Synthetic Platform: Coordination Chemistry and Cycloaddition‐Triggered Transformations

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
Cross‐coupling/homologation sequence between a stable three‐membered‐ring carbene and isocyanides enables facile and rapid access to novel methyleneketenimines and the first bis(methyleneketenimine). Reactivity studies gave rise to the first methyleneketenimine‐transition metal complexes, unique multimodal reactivity ranging from CO2, isocyanate ...

Study of acute toxicity of new thiophene-containing derivatives of 1,2,4-triazole

open access: yesZaporožskij Medicinskij Žurnal, 2023
Acute toxicity studies are an integral part of preclinical studies of any new biologically active compound. It should be noted that it is this stage of research that is crucial regarding the possibility of further use of a pharmacologically active ...

Insights into the Nature of Synergistic Effects in Proton-Conducting 4,4−1H,1H-Bitriazole-Poly(ethylene oxide) Composites [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
A nitrogen-containing heterocycle (NCH), 4,4-1H-1H-bi-1,2,3-triazole (bitriazole), capable of mimicking the hydrogen bonding of water in the solid state is synthesized and its ability to conduct protons in the presence of poly(ethylene oxides) under ...

BLADE‐ON‐PETIOLE Genes Enable Genetic Bottleneck Mitigation Through Cross‐Species Repurposing of Floral Persistence Traits

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study shows that BLADE‐ON‐PETIOLE (BOP) proteins regulate floral abscission and senescence in tomato by interacting with TFAM1 to form transcriptional condensates controlling the ARABIDOPSIS THALIANA HOMEOBOX GENE 1 (ATH1)‐mediated abscission pathway.

Diazo Transfer From Nitrous Oxide Employing Phosphorus Ylides

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
A phosphorus ylide‐mediated strategy achieves the direct fixation of nitrous oxide (N2O) to access diazo compounds, which after intra‐ or intermolecular trapping, afford N2‐containing organic building blocks. This approach provides an alternative to hazardous diazo‐transfer reagents and establishes N2O fixation as a sustainable methodology.
