A novel process driving Alzheimer's disease validated in a mouse model: Therapeutic potential
Introduction The neuronal mechanism driving Alzheimer's disease (AD) is incompletely understood. Methods Immunohistochemistry, pharmacology, biochemistry, and behavioral testing are employed in two pathological contexts—AD and a transgenic mouse model—to

Pesticide Exposure Alters Follicle-Stimulating Hormone Levels in Mexican Agricultural Workers [PDF]
Organophosphorous pesticides (OPs) are suspected of altering reproductive function by reducing brain acetylcholinesterase activity and monoamine levels, thus impairing hypothalamic and/or pituitary endocrine functions and gonadal processes. Our objective

This study introduces a small‐molecule additive to improve the stability of stretchable organic field‐effect transistor (OFET). Furthermore, stretchable OFET‐based pesticide sensors with extended‐gate electrodes are constructed. It achieves highly sensitive and precise detection of chlorpyrifos pesticide, reaching a detection limit as low as 0.032 ppb.

Structure-activity relationship and in silico study of unique bi-heterocycles: 5-[(2-amino-1,3-thiazol-4-yl)methyl]-1,3,4-oxadiazole-2-thiol derivatives [PDF]
This paper presents the synthesis of some unique bi-heterocyclic hybrid molecules with a thiazole and an oxadiazole ring. The synthesis was initiated by the conversion of ethyl 2-(2-amino-1,3-thiazol-4-yl)acetate (1) to the corresponding 2-(2-amino-1,3 ...

Neuromorphic Motor Control with Electrolyte‐Gated Organic Synaptic Transistors
Electrolyte‐gated organic synaptic transistor (EGOST)‐based neuromorphic motor control systems integrate sensing, processing, and actuation by mimicking biological synapses. With advantages such as low power consumption, tunable synaptic plasticity, and mechanical flexibility, they are emerging as next‐generation core technologies for real‐time ...
