A New Aporphine Alkaloid from Aconitum carmichaelii

Chemistry of Natural Compounds, 2017
A new aporphine alkaloid, 6-formyl-1,2,9,10-tetramethoxy-6a,7-dehydroaporphine (1), was isolated from the aerial parts of Aconitum carmichaelii along with two known isoquinoline alkaloids, glaucine (2) and norglaucine hydrochloride (3). The structure of 1 was determined by extensive spectroscopic methods, especially 2D NMR analyses.

Complete nucleotide sequence of a new carlavirus infecting Aconitum carmichaelii in China

Archives of Virology, 2021
A novel virus was identified in aconite (Aconitum carmichaelii Debx.) in China by high-throughput sequencing (HTS) and tentatively named "aconite virus A" (AcVA). The genomic RNA of AcVA consists of 8,844 nucleotides, excluding the poly(A) at the 3' end.

Characterization of a Root-Knot Nematode Infecting Aconitum carmichaelii in Southwest China

Plant Disease, 2023
Growth of the Chinese herbal medicine industry has resulted in several new pests and diseases. China is one of the world largest producers of monkshood (Aconitum carmichaelii Debx.), but an unidentified root-knot nematode has become a significant pest in the southwestern provinces of Yunnan and Sichuan.

Diterpenoid Alkaloids from the Lateral Root of Aconitum carmichaelii

Journal of Natural Products, 2012
Twenty-six new diterpenoid alkaloids, 1-26 (1-4: hetisan-type C(20)-diterpenoid alkaloids; 5-26: aconitane C(19)-diterpenoid alkaloids), and two known analogues, hypaconitine 27 and benzoylmesaconine 28, have been isolated from a water extract of the lateral root of Aconitum carmichaelii.
