Acyl-Ethynylbenziodoxolone (acyl-EBX): Access to Ketene Dithioarylacetals

Organic Letters, 2023
We report the synthesis of ketene dithioarylacetals in 40-97% yield using thiophenols and acyl-EBXs (ethynylbenziodoxolones) generated in situ from a common hypervalent iodine precursor and alkynyl trifluoroborate salts. The products could be further modified to afford functionalized ketene dithioacetals and various S-substituted heterocycles.

Proscillaridin‐3′‐acylate

Acylated arachins.

International Journal of Peptide and Protein Research, 1984
Acetylated and succinylated arachins were examined for various physico‐chemical parameters such as viscosity, absorption and fluorescence spectra, gel electrophoretic patterns, gel filtration profiles and susceptibility to proteolysis. Acetylation and succinylation lead to dissociation of arachin into lower molecular weight fractions.

Aromatic acyl phosphates as substrates of acyl phosphatase

Archives of Biochemistry and Biophysics, 1966
Two aromatic acyl phosphates, benzoyl phosphate and p-nitrobenzoyl phosphate, were synthesized and some of their properties were studied. Both are split by purified muscle acyl phosphatase: their suitable optical characteristics, particularly of benzoyl phosphate, make it possible to use them as advantageous substrates for the continuous measurement of

Acyl‐CoA acyl‐sn glycerol‐3 phosphorylcholine acyl transferase of bovine mammary tissue

Lipids, 1974
AbstractMicrosomal material from lactating bovine mammary tissue possess very active acyl‐CoA:1‐acyl‐sn‐glycerol‐3‐phosphorylcholine acyl transferase (EC2.3.1.‐1). Oleyl‐CoA was the preferred substrate and rates of 6.3, 6.4, 1.8, 21.0, and 0.1 nmoles acylated/min/mg were obtained for myristyl‐, palmityl‐, stearyl‐, oleyl‐ and linoleyl‐CoA, respectively,

Biochemical Acyl Hydroxylations

1972
McKenna and Kallio [1] ended their review on the biology of hydrocarbons with a statement which was to prove extremely relevant during the following years: The next review of the subject will have at its disposal the basic data necessary to concern itself not with pathways but rather with a penetrating analysis of mechanism at the molecular and ...
