Synthesis, crystal structure and bioactivity of phenazine-1-carboxylic acylhydrazone derivatives [PDF]

open access: yes, 2021
A phenazine-1-carboxylic acid intermediate was synthesized from the reaction of aniline and 2-bromo-3-nitro-benzoic acid. It was then esterified and reacted with hydrazine hydrate to afford phenazine-1-carboxylic hydrazine.

Synthesis of New Benzothiazole Acylhydrazones as Anticancer Agents

open access: yesMolecules, 2018
During the last five decades, a large number of BT (Benzothiazole) derivatives formed one of the eligible structures in medicinal chemistry as anticancer agents. Most of the studies reveal that various substitutions at specific positions on BT scaffold modulate the antitumor property. The potential of BTs encouraged us to synthesize a number of new 2-((
