Identification of polyunsaturated fatty acids related key modules and genes in metabolic dysfunction-associated fatty liver disease using WGCNA analysis

open access: yesFrontiers in Genetics, 2022
Polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) play important roles in the aetiology and pathogenesis of metabolic dysfunction-associated fatty liver disease (MAFLD). However, the underlying molecular mechanisms are not understood. We analysed a public GEO dataset,

Screening target genes for the treatment of PCOS via analysis of single-cell sequencing data

open access: yesAnnals of Medicine, 2022
Background Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a condition of the female reproductive system and it remains imperative to identify target genes responsible for its pathogenesis and develop therapeutic drugs capable of effectively treating it.Methods We ...

ADAMTS1 mediates the release of antiangiogenic polypeptides from TSP1 and 2 [PDF]

open access: yesThe EMBO Journal, 2006
Matrix metalloproteases regulate both physiological and pathological events by processing matrix proteins and growth factors. ADAMTS1 in particular is required for normal ovulation and renal function and has been shown to modulate angiogenesis. Here we report that TSP1 and 2 are substrates of ADAMTS1.

食管癌组织中ADAMTS1、ADAMTS18基因mRNA的表达及其意义

open access: yesZhongguo shiyan zhenduanxue, 2021

Promoter methylation of ADAMTS1 and BNC1 as potential biomarkers for early detection of pancreatic cancer in blood

open access: yesClinical Epigenetics, 2019
Background Despite improvements in cancer management, most pancreatic cancers are still diagnosed at an advanced stage. We have recently identified promoter DNA methylation of the genes ADAMTS1 and BNC1 as potential blood biomarkers of pancreas cancer ...

In Situ Stress‐Dispersing Hydrogel Millispheres via Load Redistribution to Restore Nucleus Pulposus Metabolic Homeostasis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Local stress concentration disrupts metabolic homeostasis and induces inflammation in the nucleus pulposus (NP), thereby accelerating intervertebral disc degeneration (IDD). A biomimetic HA/ChS hydrogel millimeter sphere (ChS@HM) is developed to enable synergistic stress dispersion and sustained hydration lubrication.

Differentially regulated ADAMTS1, 8, and 18 in gastric adenocarcinoma

open access: yesBratislava Medical Journal, 2017
The aim is to investigate the expression status of ADAMTS1,8, and 18 proteases in gastric cancer (GC) and lymphatic metastasis.A disintegrin and metalloprotease with thrombospondin motifs (ADAMTS) is a new protease family, and has important biological functions such as hemostasis, extracellular matrix remodeling and regulation of angiogenesis. The ...

Programmable Paracrine‐Mimetic Microneedle System for Temporal Regulation of Cardiac Repair

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Temporal signaling is encoded into a programmable paracrine‐mimetic microneedle patch via tris(2,2'‐bipyridyl)dichlororuthenium(II) hexahydrate/sodium persulfate‐tuned hydrogel microparticles that deliver TGF‐β, IGF‐1, and VEGF over phase‐matched 7‐, 14‐, and 28‐day windows.
