KDM7A and KDM1A inhibition suppresses tumour promoting pathways in prostate cancer
Treatment resistance is a major challenge for patients with advanced prostate cancer. This study examined an alternative approach to target the major prostate cancer‐promoting pathway by targeting epigenetic factors, whose levels are higher in tumours.

Adaptive sliding-mode observer for second order discrete-time MIMO nonlinear systems based on recurrent neural-networks [PDF]
This manuscript introduces a novel methodology to solve the state estimation of discrete-time multi-input multi-output (MIMO) nonlinear systems with uncertain dynamics.

CIN85 is highly expressed in osteosarcoma, particularly in metastatic lesions. Its overexpression increases cell migration and Matrigel invasion, while silencing CIN85 suppresses these behaviors. Transcriptome analysis shows that CIN85 regulates MMP2, COL3A1, and Akt/mTOR signaling. Targeting these pathways reverses CIN85‐induced motility, highlighting

Adaptive sliding mode observers in uncertain chaotic cryptosystems with a relaxed matching condition [PDF]
We study the performance of adaptive sliding mode observers in chaotic synchronization and communication in the presence of uncertainties. The proposed robust adaptive observer-based synchronization is used for cryptography based on chaotic masking ...

Combining osimertinib with the STING agonist ADU‐S100 activates innate and adaptive immunity to overcome the non‐inflamed microenvironment of Egfr‐mutant lung cancer. This combination increases NK and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, associated with activation of the STING‐IRF3 pathway and local immunogenic cell death.

Adaptive backstepping and sliding mode control of a quadrotor
Abstract This article proposes a simple robust adaptive control architecture with minimum parameter estimation laws for trajectory tracking of a quadrotor subjected to parametric variations and environmental disturbances. This simple control architecture aims to achieve highly accurate, robust, and fast trajectory tracking of the ...

Single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assays for high‐throughput DNA–protein interaction studies
We describe an optimised single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assay that visualises DNA–protein interactions in real time. Linear DNA fragments are tethered to a surface and stretched by buffer flow for fluorescence imaging. Using λ and φX174 DNA, this protocol enhances reproducibility and accessibility, providing a versatile approach for studying diverse ...

Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.

Adaptive integral sliding mode control for active vibration absorber design [PDF]
A new tuning method for active vibration absorber design is presented in this paper. A robust, adaptive control scheme based on a variable structure with an adaptive discontinuity surface is designed and simulated.
