Investigating the potential of the Metastasis Associated Antigen 1 (MTA1) for cancer immunotherapy in a murine model [PDF]
Immunotherapeutic approaches to target antigens associated with metastasis could provide a valuable means of targeting metastatic cells specifically. Metastasis Associated Antigen (MTA1) is one such relatively novel antigen, which has been associated ...

Repurposing a Small Molecule Plant Hormone as a Tunable ON‐Switch for CAR‐T Cell Immunotherapy
By engineering a receptor system integrating the plant auxin receptor AFB1 with its co‐receptor IAA7, we enable ligand‐dependent interactions triggered by the plant hormone auxins. This design allows rapid, reversible, and dose‐dependent T cell activation, resulting in potent cytotoxicity against B‐cell lymphoma in vitro and in vivo.

CAR-T cells and other cellular therapies for solid tumors: Current challenges and emerging solutions
Recent advances in cancer immunotherapy have transformed adoptive cellular therapy, yielding remarkable clinical outcomes in hematological malignancies, whereas its efficacy in solid tumors remains severely limited by the immunosuppressive tumor ...

DTBEI@CS@MnO2, fabricated via modular electrostatic co‐engineering and photothermal/photodynamic immunogenic cell death, specifically responds to the acidic and GSH‐rich tumor microenvironment. This triggers the release of DTBEI that provides tumor antigens, DNA, and DAMPs, as well as the generation of Mn2+, thereby synergistically potentiating cGAS ...

An injectable gelatin‐based tannic acid–iron hydrogel with mild photothermal therapy could not only induce immunogenic cell death, but also elicit ferroptosis of both tumor cells and tumor‐associated macrophages, resulting in DC maturation, T‐cell infiltration and down‐regulation of ferroptosis‐sensitive M2‐type TAMs levels.

A Drug‐Gated, Modular STAb‐T Immunotherapy With External Control
Engineered STAb‐TON cells act as programmable living factories that continuously secrete inactive antibody modules, which assemble extracellularly into a functional T cell engager only upon small‐molecule administration. This externally controlled platform enables reversible, on‐demand regulation of antitumor immunity, establishing a new paradigm for ...

Overcoming Drug Resistance by Paclitaxel Resistance in Triple‐Negative Breast Cancer
In the murine triple‐negative breast cancer (TNBC) model, chemotherapy effectively increases tumor neoantigen burden (TNB). Here, the study constructs a liposomal nanovaccine using antigens derived from in vitro chemotherapy‐treated paclitaxel‐resistant TNBC 4T1 cells.
