N6‐Methyladenosine (m6A) in Liver Disease: Pathogenic Mechanisms and Therapeutic Potential
ABSTRACT Accumulating evidence highlights the critical role of epigenetic modifications, particularly N6‐methyladenosine (m6A), in liver disease. As the most abundant RNA modification in eukaryotic cells, m6A is dynamically regulated by multicomponent m6A methyltransferases (e.g., METTL3 and METTL14), demethylases (FTO and ALKBH5), and m6A‐binding ...

Immunomodulatory and Cytotoxic Properties of Enniatin B1 in Porcine Alveolar Macrophages
ABSTRACT This study investigates the immunomodulatory effects of Enniatin B1 (ENNB1), an emerging mycotoxin, on porcine alveolar macrophages (PAMs), a species‐specific model relevant to human innate immunity. PAMs were exposed to increasing ENNB1 concentrations (0.5–6 μM) over 6, 24, and 48 h.

ABSTRACT Aristolochia species have long been used in traditional medicine for their presumed anti‐inflammatory, analgesic and antimicrobial properties. However, extensive toxicological and epidemiological evidence now demonstrates that these plants contain aristolochic acids (AAs) I and II, highly potent nephrotoxic, genotoxic, and carcinogenic ...

Assessment of dried blood spots for multi-mycotoxin biomarker analysis in pigs and broiler chickens [PDF]
Dried blood spots (DBSs), a micro-sampling technique whereby a drop of blood is collected on filter paper has multiple advantages over conventional blood sampling regarding the sampling itself, as well as transportation and storage.

Abstract Background The proliferation of invasive aquatic macrophytes poses a significant ecological challenge globally, while many tropical regions face chronic shortages of affordable livestock feed. This study addresses this dual problem by assessing two invasive species, water hyacinth (Eichhornia crassipes) and water lettuce (Pistia stratiotes ...

Recent Advances in Aflatoxins Detection Based on Nanomaterials
Aflatoxins are the secondary metabolites of Aspergillus flavus and Aspergillus parasiticus and are highly toxic and carcinogenic, teratogenic and mutagenic. Ingestion of crops and food contaminated by aflatoxins causes extremely serious harm to human and
