A New Trial in Egypt to Detoxify AFM1 in UHT Milk by Lactobacilli and their Bacteriocins
Alexandria Journal of Veterinary Sciences, 2018Milk is the primary source of human nutrition because of the fact that it contains appreciable amounts of macro and micro nutrients especially for infants and elders. Occurrence and health risk assessment of AFM1 in commercial yogurt in Thailand
Mycotoxin ResearchMilk and dairy products, including yogurt, provide essential nutrients and are widely consumed as valuable protein sources. However, considering then increasing prevalence of Aflatoxin B1 (AFB1) in the diet of dairy cows, concerns arise regarding the possible contamination of milk and dairy products with AFM1, the major metabolite of AFB1 excreted in ...

Aromalı UHT sütlerde AFM1 varlığı
2015Bu çalışmada toplam 90 aromalı UHT süt örneğinde (Kakolu, çilekli ve muzlu, her birisinden 30 adet olacak şekilde) AFM1 varlığı ve seviyesi ELISA metodu kullanılarak araştırıldı. Sonuçlar, incelenen örneklerin hiçbirisinin AFM1 miktarları açısından Türk Gıda Kodeksi ve Avrupa Birliği Kodeksi sınırlarını (50 ppt; 50 ng/l) aşmadığını gösterdi.

A comparative study of AFM1 binding parameters in milk by lactic acid bacteria
2018AFM1 is an AFB1 derivate formed in the liver and is excreted in milk by the mammalian milk glands. Therefore, concerns about mycotoxins entering human food chain indirectly are well justified. In order to reduce the mycotoxins ratio, growth of molds should be reduced and that can be accomplished with good manufacturing practice (GMP).
