Older age treatment expectations
Journal of Clinical Psychology, 1986The relationship between age and treatment expectation (TE) has been virtually ignored. This study assessed the TE and posthospital adjustment of 5,347 psychiatric patients, 4,361 younger (less than 55) and 986 older (greater than 55). Patients were evaluated on admission with self- and other rating adjustment scales and again at 3-months postdischarge.

Treatment of Early Vascular Ageing
Current Pharmaceutical Design, 2019Artery disease can be identified from ankle-brachial index (peripheral artery disease), pulse wave velocity (arterial stiffness), carotid intima media thickness (atherosclerosis) and flow-mediated dilation (endothelial dysfunction). Arterial stiffness is a marker of cardiovascular disease associated with cardiovascular events. Increased vascular ageing

Aging and Antithrombotic Treatment
Antioxidants & Redox SignalingSignificance: Several aging-related pathophysiological mechanisms have been described to contribute to increased thrombotic risk in the elderly, including oxidative stress, endothelial dysfunction, and platelet and coagulation cascade activation. Antithrombotic treatment in the elderly should be individualized.
