Manipulation of Oxygen Tension in Damaged Regions via Hypoxia‐Induced IPN Hydrogel Microspheres for Intervertebral Disc Regeneration

An Organic Molecular Nanobarrel that Hosts and Solubilizes C60

A new trigonal prismatic organic nanobarrel with two large triangular windows and a diameter of 12.7 Å has been synthesized that is optimal for the encapsulation of C60. Remarkably, this organic nanobarrel shows a high affinity for C60 in solvents in which C60 is virtually insoluble, and results in stable solutions of C60.

Ternary Inclusion Co‐Crystals for Efficient Photothermal Conversion and Solar‐Driven Water Evaporation

An inclusion co‐crystal strategy for elevating photothermal conversion efficiency is developed. A Tröger's base molecular box strongly bind two electron‐deficient TCNQ forming 1:2 ternary inclusion charge‐transfer co‐crystals, which displays a high photothermal efficiency of 94.3%.
