Abstract Test plots were established at the UI Research and Extension Center, Kimberly, ID. The soil type was Portneuf silt loam and the field was irrigated by surface flow. Eleven treatments and an untreated check were replicated 4 times in a RCBD. Each individual test plot was 20 ft × 25 ft.
