Preparation and evaluation of amido poly amine surfactant based on Melia azedarach seeds oil as corrosion inhibitor of C-steel in 2.0 M HCl pickling medium

open access: yesGreen Chemistry Letters and Reviews, 2017
Oil of Melia azedarach seeds (MA-oil) was extracted and modified in the form of amido poly amine surfactant (MA-amido surfactant). The surface active properties of the new MA-amido surfactant were analyzed. Corrosion inhibition of C-steel in 2.0 M HCl by

Chemistry of amido radicals: intramolecular hydrogen abstraction as related to amido radical configurations [PDF]

open access: yesCanadian Journal of Chemistry, 1985
Model bromamides were photolysed to investigate the reactivity of intramolecular C-5 hydrogen abstraction (from the nitrogen atom) of the corresponding amidyl radicals and of the cyclization of the resulting C-bromides. The observed results are discussed in terms of stereoelectronic as well as energetic considerations.

Reactions of (-)-sparteine with alkali metal HMDS complexes : conventional meets the unconventional [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
Conventional (-)-sparteine adducts of lithium and sodium 1,1,1,3,3,3-hexamethyldisilazide (HMDS) were prepared and characterised, along with an unexpected and unconventional hydroxyl-incorporated sodium sodiate, [(-)-sparteine·Na(-HMDS)Na·(-)-sparteine]+[

Bimetallic Complexes Supported by a Redox-Active Ligand with Fused Pincer-Type Coordination Sites [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
The remarkable chemistry of mononuclear complexes featuring tridentate, meridionally chelating “pincer” ligands has stimulated the development of ligand frameworks containing multiple pincer sites. Here, the coordination chemistry of a novel pentadentate

Mycotoxins nivalenol and deoxynivalenol differently modulate cytokine mRNA expression in Jurkat T cells. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
Deoxynivalenol (DON) and its hydroxylated form nivalenol (NIV) are Fusarium mycotoxins that occur in cereal grains alone or in combination. Several studies have shown that these metabolites affect lymphocyte functions.

Bis[μ-N-(tert-butyldimethylsilyl)quinolin-8-aminato-1:2κ2N1,N8:N8](N,N,N′,N′-tetramethylethane-1,2-diamine-1κ2N,N′)lithiumsodium

open access: yesActa Crystallographica Section E, 2012
In the heterometallic title bulky amido complex, [LiNa(C15H21N2Si)2(C6H16N2)], both alkali metal ions are four-coordinated with distorted tetrahedral geometries. The Li+ ion is N,N′-chelated by the N-silylated amido ligand, with Li—N =

Bactericidal activity of extended 9-glycyl-amido-minocyclines [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
The need for self-protecting polymer or alloy implants resistant to a broad spectrum of bacterial challenges led us to investigate covalent bonding of minocycline (MIN), a tetracycline derivative, to polystyrene beads and to titanium alloy foils by ...

An efficient and practical entry to 2-amido-dienes and 3-amido-trienes from allenamides through stereoselective 1,3-hydrogen shifts

open access: yesBeilstein Journal of Organic Chemistry, 2011
Preparations of de novo acyclic 2-amido-dienes and 3-amido-trienes through 1,3-hydrogen shifts from allenamides are described. These 1,3-hydrogen shifts could be achieved thermally or they could be promoted by the use of Brønsted acids.
