The reactions of [[M(mu-OMe)(cod)](2)] (M = Rh, Ir; cod = 1,5- cyclooctadiene) with p-tolylamine, alpha-naphthylamine, and p-nitroaniline gave complexes with mixed-bridging ligands, [[M(cod)](2)(mu-NHAr)(mu-OMe)].
