Complexes of iron and cobalt with new tripodal amido-polyphosphine hybrid ligands [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
Divalent complexes of iron and cobalt with new, monoanionic tripodal amido-polyphosphine ligands have been thoroughly characterized, and XRD analysis reveals geometries that are distinct for this class of ...

Dinuclear Rhodium and Iridium Complexes with Mixed Amido/Methoxo and Amido/Hydroxo Bridges

open access: yesInorganic Chemistry, 2002
The reactions of [[M(mu-OMe)(cod)](2)] (M = Rh, Ir; cod = 1,5- cyclooctadiene) with p-tolylamine, alpha-naphthylamine, and p-nitroaniline gave complexes with mixed-bridging ligands, [[M(cod)](2)(mu-NHAr)(mu-OMe)]. Similarly, the related complexes [[Rh(cod)](2)(mu-NHAr)(mu-OH)] were prepared from the reactions of [[Rh(mu-OH)(cod)](2)] with p-tolylamine,

The effect of the amido substituent on polymer molecular weight in propene homopolymerisation by titanium cyclopentadienyl-amide catalysts [PDF]

open access: yes, 2000
In the homopolymerisation of propene by the cyclopentadienyl-amide titanium catalyst systems [η5,η1-C5H4(CH2)2NR]TiCl2/MAO and [η5,η1-C5H4(CH2)2NR]Ti(CH2Ph)2/B(C6F5)3 (R = tBu, iPr, Me), the catalyst with the smallest substituent (Me) on the amido moiety

Methyl 2-[(ferrocenylcarbonyl)amino]thiophene-3-carboxylate [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
The title compound, [Fe(C₅H₅)(C₁₂H₁₀NO₃S)], was synthesized from ferrocenecarboxylic acid and methyl 2-aminothiophene-3-carboxylate in modest yield. The substituted ring system is essentially planar through the amidothienylcarboxylate moiety, η⁵-(C₅H₄ ...

Ligand Lone-Pair Influence on Hydrocarbon C-H Activation: A Computational Perspective [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Mid to late transition metal complexes that break hydrocarbon C-H bonds by transferring the hydrogen to a heteroatom ligand while forming a metal-alkyl bond offer a promising strategy for C-H activation.

Preparation and evaluation of amido poly amine surfactant based on Melia azedarach seeds oil as corrosion inhibitor of C-steel in 2.0 M HCl pickling medium

open access: yesGreen Chemistry Letters and Reviews, 2017
Oil of Melia azedarach seeds (MA-oil) was extracted and modified in the form of amido poly amine surfactant (MA-amido surfactant). The surface active properties of the new MA-amido surfactant were analyzed. Corrosion inhibition of C-steel in 2.0 M HCl by

Relaxing amid Three: Slow Magnetization Relaxation in Three-Coordinate Chromium(II) N-Heterocyclic Carbene Complexes. [PDF]

open access: yesChemistry
Some members of a family of three‐coordinate S = 2 CrII complexes bearing NHC and amido donors display field‐induced slow magnetization relaxation. Magnetostructural correlations are drawn within this family, and comparisons are made with literature CrII SIMs. Abstract Three‐coordinate, paramagnetic CrII complexes of type [Cr(amido)nBnm(NHC)], NHC = N,

Chemistry of amido radicals: intramolecular hydrogen abstraction as related to amido radical configurations [PDF]

open access: yesCanadian Journal of Chemistry, 1985
Model bromamides were photolysed to investigate the reactivity of intramolecular C-5 hydrogen abstraction (from the nitrogen atom) of the corresponding amidyl radicals and of the cyclization of the resulting C-bromides. The observed results are discussed in terms of stereoelectronic as well as energetic considerations.
