Ammonium perchlorate and ammonium perchlorate-binder sandwich combustion [PDF]
order of 300 \i in width. The deflagration of all three burners appeared laminar, with a definite temperature peak above the center of the burner. The PP-COMM AP had a scalloped surface which accounted for a more unsteady appearance of the gas flow above the deflagrating AP. A yellow-green zone was visible within the SC-UHP AP extending from the burner

Redox-Controlled Ammonium Storage and Overturn in Ediacaran Oceans
As a key nutrient, nitrogen can limit primary productivity and carbon cycle dynamics, but also evolutionary progress. Given strong redox-dependency of its molecular speciation, environmental conditions can control nitrogen localization and ...

Stereospecific and chemoselective copper-catalyzed deaminative silylation of benzylic ammonium triflates [PDF]
A method for the synthesis of benzylsilanes starting from the corresponding ammonium triflates is reported. Silyl boronic esters are employed as silicon pronucleophiles, and the reaction is catalyzed by copper(I) salts.

Ammonium and methyl ammonium transport by RhAG
The erythroid Rh protein (RhAG) is one component of the “Rh complex” that is known for its immunogenic characteristics. Recently, a role of RhAG in transport of ions has been proposed. In this study, we characterized NH3/NH4+ transport by RhAG expressed in Xenopus oocytes. To do so we used ion‐selective microelectrodes & two‐electrode voltage clamp
