GST-IVTT pull-down: a fast and versatile in vitro method for validating and mapping protein-protein interactions. [PDF]
The GST‐IVTT pull‐down assay is suitable for the rapid validation and mapping of functional protein interactions in vitro. The 35S‐labelled prey protein or its pieces (putative interactors) are produced by a single‐step IVTT (in vitro transcription/translation) reaction from various templates.

PLK4: Master Regulator of Centriole Duplication and Its Therapeutic Potential. [PDF]
ABSTRACT Centrosomes catalyze the assembly of a microtubule‐based bipolar spindle, essential for the precise chromosome segregation during cell division. At the center of this process lies Polo‐Like Kinase 4 (PLK4), the master regulator that controls the duplication of the centriolar core to ensure the correct balance of two centrosomes per dividing ...

Post-translational modification sites are present in hydrophilic cavities of alpha-synuclein, tau, FUS, and TDP-43 fibrils: A molecular dynamics study. [PDF]
Abstract Hydration plays a crucial role in the refolding of intrinsically disordered proteins into amyloid fibrils; however, the specific interactions between water and protein that may contribute to this process are still unknown. In our previous studies of alpha‐synuclein (aSyn), we have shown that waters confined in fibril cavities are stabilizing ...

Centrioles play a central role in cell division by recruiting pericentriolar material (PCM) to form the centrosome. Alterations in centriole number or function lead to various diseases including cancer or microcephaly. Centriole duplication is a highly conserved mechanism in eukaryotes.

Residual flexibility in the topologically constrained multivalent complex between the GKAP scaffold and LC8 hub proteins. [PDF]
The scaffold protein GKAP and the hub protein LC8 form a well‐defined hexameric complex, with the stoichiometry of 2 GKAP : 2 LC8 dimers. NMR and molecular dynamics calculations confirm that the LC8‐binding segment of GKAP is intrinsically disordered even in the complex form.

We propose a novel sparse array with seven subarrays (SA‐7S) by carefully assembling the subarrays, and the resulting SA‐7S can generate a hole‐free uniform difference co‐array. Theoretical analysis shows that the SA‐7S can provide a higher number of degrees of freedom than most sparse linear arrays.
