Epoxidation of CNSL Mixture, Cardanol, and Cardol: A Sustainable Solution for PVC Plasticization
European Journal of Lipid Science and Technology, Volume 128, Issue 1, January 2026.This study has its focus on the epoxidation of technical cashew nut shell liquid (CNSL), used as a PVC plasticizer. Epoxidation significantly enhanced plasticizing properties (increased elongation at break, decreased Young's modulus), along with improved thermal stability and chemical resistance.
