Endoscopic Complete Response to Zolbetuximab for Advanced Gastric Cancer With Claudin 18.2 Positive: A Case Report

open access: yesDEN Open, Volume 6, Issue 1, April 2026.
ABSTRACT Recently, zolbetuximab combined with chemotherapy has been approved as a first‐line treatment for advanced gastric cancer (GC). However, to date, no endoscopic images demonstrating endoscopic complete response (eCR) to zolbetuximab plus chemotherapy have been reported.

A Case of Obstructive Jaundice due to Bile Duct Tumor Thrombus of Hepatocellular Carcinoma Diagnosed by Peroral Cholangioscopy

open access: yesDEN Open, Volume 6, Issue 1, April 2026.
Abstract While hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) often invades the portal or hepatic vein to form tumor thrombus, tumor thrombus in the bile duct is rare. In such cases, differentiation from intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma is difficult, and the tumor often appears as a smooth, yellowish‐white, polypoid mass within the bile duct lumen.

A Case of Gastric Metastasis of Renal Cell Carcinoma Resected by Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection After Endoscopic Follow‐up of Morphological Changes

open access: yesDEN Open, Volume 6, Issue 1, April 2026.
ABSTRACT A 62‐year‐old man underwent partial nephrectomy for right renal cell carcinoma (RCC). Four years later, esophagogastroduodenoscopy revealed gastric mucosal redness with a smooth surface. Two more years later, the red lesion showed a morphological change to a reddish elevation, which prompted a biopsy.

Clinical validation of a DNA methylation biomarker associated with overall survival of relapsed ovarian cancer patients

open access: yesInternational Journal of Cancer, Volume 158, Issue 7, Page 1821-1835, 1 April 2026.
What's new? Most patients with ovarian cancer (OC) relapse after first‐line chemotherapy, and prognosis with second‐line treatment depends largely on the platinum‐free interval. However, reliable biomarkers to predict response to second‐line therapy remain lacking.

Protective Effects of Auricularia auricula Polysaccharides on Acute Lung Injury by Regulating Intestinal Flora and Metabolism

open access: yesFood Frontiers, Volume 7, Issue 2, March 2026.
Auricularia auricula polysaccharides (AAP; 100, 200, and 400 mg/kg) protect against acute lung injury (ALI) by dose‐dependently remodeling the gut microbiota and modulating associated metabolic pathways via the gut‐lung axis, thereby enhancing pulmonary anti‐inflammatory and antioxidant capacity to ultimately prevent tissue damage.
