Dual‐Targeted Biomimetic MoSe2 Nanozymes for Enhancing Peri‐Implant Soft Tissue Integration
A dual‐targeting biomimetic nanozyme, MoSe2@SPMM, selectively targets Staphylococcus aureus and oxidatively stressed macrophages. Near‐infrared activation couples contact‐enhanced photothermal bacterial eradication with reactive oxygen species scavenging to disrupt the pathogenic–immunological amplification loop.

An acid‐responsive core‐shell microneedle system normalizes the degenerative annulus fibrosus microenvironment by consuming pathological H+, generating O2, and providing NIR‐amplified redox buffering. Mechanistically, it epigenetically suppresses ferroptosis via DNMT3A‐dependent methylation of the ATF3 promoter, relieving ATF3‐mediated repression of ...

Hepatoprotective Efficacy of Pyrimidine Derivatives in Acute Dichloroethane Intoxication
The paper presents the results of a study of the antioxidative and hematoprotective properties of pyrimidine derivatives: 1,3,6-trimethyl-5-hydroxyuracil and 3,6-dimethyl-5-hydrpxyuracil versus the synthetic antioxidant tonarol, а-tocopherol acetate, and

Peroxisome Metabolism in Cancer
Peroxisomes are metabolic organelles involved in lipid metabolism and cellular redoxbalance. Peroxisomal function is central to fatty acid oxidation, ether phospholipid synthesis, bile acidsynthesis, and reactive oxygen species homeostasis.

Mathematical modelling of metabolism and acidity in cancer [PDF]
Human cancers exhibit the common phenotype of elevated glycolytic metabolism, which causes acidification of the tissue microenvironment and may facilitate tumour invasion.

Bioenergetic Materials for Tissue Regeneration: Modulating Metabolism to Promote Cellular Anabolism
Bioenergetic materials (BEMs) modulate cellular metabolism to promote tissue regeneration. Their principal mechanisms of action include metabolic substrate supplementation, metabolic enzyme modulation, organelle transfer, electrical current regulation, redox homeostasis modulation, and oxygen tension modulation.
