Lrat+ quiescent hepatic stellate cells (qHSC) give rise to Lrat+Fbln2+ activated HSC (aHSC) in alcohol‐associated hepatitis and this subpopulation is highly profibrotic, inflammatory, and immunoregulatory based on their single cell transcriptomic profile. Abstract Background and Aims Relative roles of HSCs and portal fibroblasts in alcoholic hepatitis (

Ovarian macrophage depletion reverses OHSS resistance in estrildid finches and exacerbates OHSS symptoms in rats. Activating macrophage GPR183 alleviates OHSS by reducing pro‐inflammatory factors, increasing immunomodulatory molecules, remodeling CD44/SDC4‐mediated communication, and restoring immune homeostasis.

Apolipoprotein A-I of primates.
Monkey apoA-I was isolated by ultracentrifugation or immunoprecipitation and analyzed by isoelectric focusing and two-dimensional polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. The plasma apoA-I of 26 Old World monkeys (12 cynomolgus and 14 rhesus), 40 New World monkeys (8 cebus, 8 squirrel, 8 spider, 8 owl, and 8 marmosets), 6 prosimians (lemurs) and 10 apes (5 ...

Reference Values for Apolipoprotein A-I and Apolipoprotein B in Serum Still Depend on Choice of Assay Techniques [PDF]
Summary: In a study with young children receiving growth hormone treatment, it was necessary to re-establish reference values for various blood components, e. g. apolipoproteins A-I and B. We find that considerable method-to-method Variation still exists.
