Enhancing Small Molecule Sensing With Aptameric Functionalized Nano Devices
Unveiling an ultra‐sensitive, non‐invasive neurotransmitter sensor. For the first time, a nanoscale sensor for detecting an important neurotransmitter was demonstrated using micro‐electromechanical systems (MEMS) technology. Our approach utilized field‐effect transistor (FET)‐based readout to enable pico‐molar detection of biomarkers in sweat.

Kinetic analysis of an efficient DNA-dependent TNA polymerase. [PDF]
alpha-l-Threofuranosyl nucleoside triphosphates (tNTPs) are tetrafuranose nucleoside derivatives and potential progenitors of present-day beta-d-2'-deoxyribofuranosyl nucleoside triphosphates (dNTPs).

Idiosyncrasies of thermofluorimetric aptamer binding assays
To explore thermofluorimetric analysis (TFA) in detail, we compared two related aptamers. The first, LINN2, is a DNA aptamer previously selected against EGFR recombinant protein. In this work we selected a second aptamer, KM4, against EGFR-overexpressing

Localized NF‐κB Inhibition Reduces Lipid Nanoparticle‐Associated Inflammation
Lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) activate NF‐κB and provoke inflammation that limits therapeutic delivery. By encapsulating selective NF‐κB inhibitors within LNPs, localized suppression of inflammatory signaling is achieved without compromising mRNA expression.

Targeted Molecular Imaging Using Aptamers in Cancer
Imaging is not only seeing, but also believing. For targeted imaging modalities, nucleic acid aptamers have features such as superior recognition of structural epitopes and quick uptake in target cells. This explains the emergence of an evolved new class

The Evolving Role of CD8+CD28- Immunosenescent T Cells in Cancer Immunology [PDF]
Functional, tumor-specific CD8+ cytotoxic T lymphocytes drive the adaptive immune response to cancer. Thus, induction of their activity is the ultimate aim of all immunotherapies.

A time‐multiplexed nanobody‐functionalized organic electrochemical transistor enables rapid and sensitive detection of three respiratory viral proteins from saliva. Sequentially addressed multi‐gate electrodes on a shared channel achieve around 1 fm detection within 15 min without sample preprocessing. Clinical validation demonstrates high specificity,
