Subungual Glomus Tumor With Nail Plate Defect in a 6‐Year‐Old Child: A Case Report and Literature Review

ABSTRACT We present a 6‐year‐old boy with a subungual glomus tumor of the left ring finger associated with nail plate damage. Diagnosis was confirmed by ultrasound; surgical excision yielded good recovery. This report improves clinical recognition of this extremely rare presentation.

The necrotic lesions on day 10. ABSTRACT Ecthyma gangrenosum (EG) is a rare cutaneous finding of Pseudomonas aeruginosa sepsis, typically in immunocompromised patients. We present EG with septic shock in a previously healthy three‐year‐old child who presented with rapidly progressing necrotic eschars and severe neutropenia.
