Etoposide induces DNA damage, activating p53‐dependent apoptosis via caspase‐3/7, which cleaves PARP1. Dammarenediol II enhances this apoptotic pathway by suppressing O‐GlcNAc transferase activity, further decreasing O‐GlcNAcylation. The reduction in O‐GlcNAc levels boosts p53‐driven apoptosis and influences the Akt/GSK3β/mTOR signaling pathway ...

Satellite Observation of Sea Ice Concentration Based on Chinese HY-1C/D Data
The increasingly significant global warming has severely affected the Arctic region. The melting speed of sea ice is accelerating, and its spatial coverage is gradually shrinking, causing a series of ecological problems that cannot be ignored. Therefore,

Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

The loss of Arctic sea ice is a conspicuous example of climate change. Climate models project ice-free conditions during summer this century under realistic emission scenarios, reflecting the increase in seasonality in ice cover.

Consistent and contrasting decadal Arctic sea ice thickness predictions from a highly optimized sea ice model [PDF]
[1] Decadal hindcast simulations of Arctic Ocean sea ice thickness made by a modern dynamic-thermodynamic sea ice model and forced independently by both the ERA-40 and NCEP/NCAR reanalysis data sets are compared for the first time.

Arctic tides from GPS on sea-ice
Abstract The presence of sea-ice in the Arctic Ocean plays a significant role in the Arctic climate. Sea-ice dampens the ocean tide amplitude with the result that global tidal models perform less accurately in the polar regions. This paper presents, a kinematic processing of global positioning system (GPS) placed on sea-ice, at six different sites ...

The PI3Kδ inhibitor roginolisib (IOA‐244) preserves T‐cell function and activity
Identification of novel PI3K inhibitors with limited immune‐related adverse effects is highly sought after. We found that roginolisib and idelalisib inhibit chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) cells and Treg suppressive functions to similar extents, but roginolisib affects cytotoxic T‐cell function and promotion of pro‐inflammatory T helper subsets to a

Enhanced Arctic sea-ice retreat due to pronounced pacificization effect in the Holocene
Future climate confronts major challenges due to ongoing Arctic sea-ice retreat. Notably, eventful sea-ice loss in the Holocene appears comparable circumstance, but associated physics remians poorly understood.
