This review systematically summarizes the major molecular mechanisms governing TAM polarization and their coordinated interactions. It further highlights recent advances in nanoagonist‐based strategies that intervene in these pathways to reprogram TAMs, critically discussing their therapeutic potential, current limitations, and translational prospects.

Stinging nettle (Urtica dioica L.) leaves are a nutrient‐dense source of proteins, dietary fiber, chlorophylls, carotenoids, and phenolic compounds. Processing technologies enable the production of powders and extracts for incorporation into bakery, beverage, dairy, and nutraceutical products; however, challenges remain regarding sensory quality ...

The Relationship of Arginine Deprivation, Argininosuccinate Synthetase and Cell Death in Melanoma
It has been shown that melanoma cells do not express argininosuccinate synthetase (ASS) and therefore are unable to synthesize arginine from citrulline. Depleting arginine using pegylated arginine deiminase (ADI-PEG20) results in cell death in melanoma but not normal cells.

The influence of L-arginine on the self-medication behaviour of Drosophila Melanogaster larvae
The theory of self-medication works on the premise that sick animals will change their diet to incorporate food substances that are not part of their usual diet, that will cure or alleviate the disease.

Oral Bacterial Extracellular Vesicles as Systemic Messengers: A Mouth–Gut–Systemic Axis Paradigm
ABSTRACT Oral microbiome dysbiosis not only associated with localized periodontal disease but also with multiple systemic diseases, including cardiovascular disease, diabetes mellitus, Alzheimer's disease, rheumatoid arthritis, and cancer. However, the efficiency with which intact viable bacteria cross biological barriers to reach distant organs is ...

The Endothelial CXCR Family in Vascular Health and Disease
ABSTRACT Endothelial cells (ECs) form the dynamic interface between blood and tissue, serving as key regulators of vascular homeostasis, inflammation, and repair. Among the molecular systems governing endothelial behavior, the C‐X‐C motif chemokine receptor (CXCR) family—originally characterized in immunology for its roles in leukocyte trafficking and ...

The arginine sensing and transport binding sites are distinct in the human pathogen Leishmania.
The intracellular protozoan parasite Leishmania donovani causes human visceral leishmaniasis. Intracellular L. donovani that proliferate inside macrophage phagolysosomes compete with the host for arginine, creating a situation that endangers parasite ...
