ArUcoE: Enhanced ArUco Marker

open access: yes2021 21st International Conference on Control, Automation and Systems (ICCAS), 2021
This paper presents a novel fiducial marker type called ArUcoE. It is obtained from a standard ArUco marker by enhancing it with a chessboard-like pattern. With our approach the pose estimation accuracy of any ArUco marker can easily be increased. Further methods to increase the accuracy are analyzed.

ArUco marker-based displacement measurement technique: uncertainty analysis [PDF]

open access: yesEngineering Research Express, 2021
Abstract The displacement response of structures can provide important information regarding their behaviours. Since image-based measurements have been considerably improved in recent years, in this research, a fiducial marker-based approach is exploited and a displacement measurement technique is proposed.
