Deep neural network Based Low-latency Speech Separation with Asymmetric analysis-Synthesis Window Pair [PDF]
Time-frequency masking or spectrum prediction computed via short symmetric windows are commonly used in low-latency deep neural network (DNN) based source separation. In this paper, we propose the usage of an asymmetric analysis-synthesis window pair which allows for training with targets with better frequency resolution, while retaining the low ...

Systematic study on probable projectile-target combinations for the synthesis of the $^{302}$120 superheavy nucleus [PDF]
Probable projectile-target combinations for the synthesis of superheavy element $^{302}$120 have been studied taking Coulomb and proximity potential as the interaction barrier. The probabilities of compound nucleus formation, PCN for the projectile-target combinations found in the cold reaction valley of $^{302}$120 are estimated.

Preparation of anti-vicinal amino alcohols: asymmetric synthesis of D-erythro-Sphinganine, (+)-spisulosine and D-ribo-phytosphingosine [PDF]
Two variations of the Overman rearrangement have been developed for the highly selective synthesis of anti-vicinal amino alcohol natural products. A MOM-ether directed palladium(II)-catalyzed rearrangement of an allylic trichloroacetimidate was used as ...

The formate pseudo‐halide anion is strategically introduced at the buried interface to stabilize the intermediate phases formed during perovskite crystallization. The controlled crystallization enhances crystallinity and alleviates tensile strain, eliminating residual PbI2 near the buried interface.

PBTTT‐OR‐R, a C14‐alkoxy/alkyl‐PBTTT polymer derivative, is of substantial interest for optoelectronics due to its specific fullerene intercalation behavior and enhanced charge‐transfer absorption. Comparing this polymer with (S) and without (O) homocoupling defects reveals that PBTTT‐OR‐R(O) forms stable co‐crystals with PC61BM, while PBTTT‐OR‐R(S ...

Picomolar inhibitor of reverse transcriptase featuring significantly improved metabolic stability
Considering the undesirable metabolic stability of our recently identified NNRTI 5 (t1/2 = 96 min) in human liver microsomes, we directed our efforts to improve its metabolic stability by introducing a new favorable hydroxymethyl side chain to the C-5 ...

A catalytic asymmetric total synthesis of (-)-perophoramidine [PDF]
We report a catalytic asymmetric total synthesis of the ascidian natural product perophoramidine. The synthesis employs a molybdenum-catalyzed asymmetric allylic alkylation of an oxindole nucleophile and a monosubstituted allylic electrophile as a key ...
