Abstract Autonomic nerves are crucial in cardiac function and pathology. However, data on the distribution of cholinergic and noradrenergic nerves in normal and pathologic human hearts is lacking. Nonfailing donor hearts were pressure‐perfusion fixed, imaged, and dissected. Left ventricular cardiomyopathy samples were also obtained.

Tooth attachment in vertebrates ranges from ligament‐based anchorage in mammals to direct fusion in many reptiles. In the veiled chameleon, we identified a transient cell population—termed ankyloblasts—at the tooth‐bone interface. These cells exhibit both odontoblast‐ and osteoblast‐like features.

This review summarizes the application of catalyst‐free bioorthogonal reactions: Staudinger ligation, strain promoted azide alkyne cycloaddition, inverse electron‐demand Diels–Alder, and 2‐cyanobenzothiazole cysteine condensation in the semi‐quantitative and quantitative analysis of biomolecules.

A biomaterial combining fresh platelet‐rich plasma with freeze‐dried chitosan (CS‐PRP) enhances diabetic skin wound healing in rats. CS‐PRP accelerates closure over the course of a month, improves healing tissue architecture and collagen remodeling, and sustains vascularization.
