color antibody-fluorochrome combinations or four to eightcolor antibody-fluorochrome combinations). Furthermore, itis well established that the prevalence increases with age. In arecent study in Spain, 608 healthy individuals were evaluatedwith an eight-color antibody panel. The overall prevalence ofMBL was 14%; it was around 5% in under 60-year-old indi-

Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

HUMORAL IMMUNE RESPONSE TO HIV-1 INFECTION AND ALTERED FUNCTION OF B LYMPHOCYTES
. Over past years, extensive studies were dedicated to pathogenetic mechanisms of HIV-associated disease. In addition to progressive decrease and dysfunction of CD4+T cells, HIV-1 infection also causes intensive defects of humoral immune links.

The G protein-coupled receptor P2RY8 and follicular dendritic cells promote germinal center confinement of B cells, whereas S1PR3 can contribute to their dissemination. [PDF]
The orphan Gα13-coupled receptor P2RY8 is mutated in human germinal center (GC)-derived lymphomas and was recently found to promote B cell association with GCs in a mouse model. Here we establish that P2RY8 promotes clustering of activated B cells within

Objective The nature of the tumour-infiltrating leucocytes (TILs) is known to impact clinical outcome in carcinomas, including hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). However, the role of tumour-infiltrating B cells (TIBs) remains controversial.

In this study, we present the structure of AcrIE8.1, a previously uncharacterized anti‐CRISPR protein that inhibits the type I‐E CRISPR‐Cas system. Through a combination of structural and biochemical analyses, we demonstrate that AcrIE8.1 directly binds to the Cas11 subunit of the Cascade complex to inhibit the CRISPR‐Cas system.

B Cells, Antibodies, and More.
B cells play a central role in the immunopathogenesis of glomerulonephritides and transplant rejection. B cells secrete antibodies that contribute to tissue injury via multiple mechanisms.
