Projective Synchronization of Chaotic Systems Via Backstepping Design
Chaos synchronization of discrete dynamical systems is investigated. An algorithm is proposed for projective synchronization of chaotic 2D Duffing map and chaotic Tinkerbell map. The control law was derived from the Lyapunov stability theory.

Event-triggered gain scheduling of reaction-diffusion PDEs
This paper deals with the problem of boundary stabilization of 1D reaction-diffusion PDEs with a time- and space- varying reaction coefficient. The boundary control design relies on the backstepping approach.

Deep Reinforcement Learning‐Based Control for Real‐Time Hybrid Simulation of Civil Structures
ABSTRACT Real‐time Hybrid Simulation (RTHS) is a cyber‐physical technique that studies the dynamic behavior of a system by combining physical and numerical components that are coupled through a boundary condition enforcer. In structural engineering, the numerical components are subjected to environmental loads that become dynamic displacements of the ...

Generalized Adaptive Backstepping Synchronization for Non-Identical Parametrically Excited Systems
In this paper, we investigate the synchronization of chaotic systems consisting of non-identical parametrically excited oscillators. The backstepping design, which is a recursive procedure that combines the choice of a Lyapunov function with the design ...

Control System for the Navigation of the Agricultural Robots: A Review
ABSTRACT Control systems for the navigation of autonomous agricultural robots—particularly those operating in uneven terrain and in the presence of static or dynamic obstacles—have advanced considerably in recent years. As conventional machinery evolves toward increasingly automated systems, the design of reliable navigation controllers has become ...

Control of Homodirectional and General Heterodirectional Linear Coupled Hyperbolic PDEs
Research on stabilization of coupled hyperbolic PDEs has been dominated by the focus on pairs of counter-convecting ("heterodirectional") transport PDEs with distributed local coupling and with controls at one or both boundaries.

A Backstepping Approach to Ship Course Control [PDF]
A Backstepping Approach to Ship Course ControlAs an object of course control, the ship is characterised by a nonlinear function describing static manoeuvring characteristics that reflect the steady-state relation between the rudder deflection and the rate of turn of the hull.
