Leaftronics: Bio‐Fractal Scaffolds From Leaf Venation for Low‐Waste Electronics
“Leaftronics” transforms naturally evolved leaf venation into quasi‐fractal scaffolds for sustainable electronics. Polymer‐infiltrated leaf skeletons can be used to fabricate ultra‐smooth, reflow‐ and thin‐film‐compatible decomposable substrates, while making the same lignocellulose networks conducting results in flexible transparent electrodes.

Mechanisms and implications of bacterial–fungal competition for soil resources
Abstract Elucidating complex interactions between bacteria and fungi that determine microbial community structure, composition, and functions in soil, as well as regulate carbon (C) and nutrient fluxes, is crucial to understand biogeochemical cycles. Among the various interactions, competition for resources is the main factor determining

Aqueous Zn(II) Salphen metallofibers decorated with PNIPAM undergo reversible, multi‐stimuli‐responsive hierarchical bundling. This higher‐order structuring kinetically stabilizes the otherwise fragile assemblies against dilution, acidic hydrolysis, and transmetallation, enables selective sorting of responsive fibers, and programs hydrogelation at ...
