What “Hides” Behind Sovereign Debt Ratings? [PDF]
In this paper we study the determinants of sovereign debt credit ratings using rating notations from the three main international rating agencies, for the period 1995-2005. We employ panel estimation and random effects ordered probit approaches to assess

Making the Case for Organ‐on‐Chip Platforms in Long‐Acting Therapeutics Development
LATs release drug from a tissue‐resident depot over weeks to months, improving adherence, but their development is hampered by preclinical models that cannot reproduce the coupled tissue processes, sustained release, local microenvironment change, interstitial transport, immune and foreign‐body responses, and clearance that govern depot performance in ...

Subgroups and products of $\Bbb R$-factorizable $P$-groups
summary:We show that {\it every\/} subgroup of an $\Bbb R$-factorizable abelian $P$-group is topologically isomorphic to a {\it closed\/} subgroup of another $\Bbb R$-factorizable abelian $P$-group.

Discrete parabolic groups in ${\rm PSL}(3, \Bbb{C})$ [PDF]
We study and classify the purely parabolic discrete subgroups of $PSL(3,\Bbb{C})$. This includes all discrete subgroups of the Heisenberg group ${\rm Heis}(3,\Bbb{C})$.
