Blood-brain barrier disruption: a culprit of cognitive decline?
Cognitive decline covers a broad spectrum of disorders, not only resulting from brain diseases but also from systemic diseases, which seriously influence the quality of life and life expectancy of patients. As a highly selective anatomical and functional

eCIRP released in the stroke brain binds to TLR4 expressed on microglia to induce miR‐155, which suppresses MafB, decreases MerTK and downstream signaling to impair efferocytosis of apoptotic neurons, worsening the acute stroke outcomes. Inhibition of eCIRP‐TLR4 interaction with small peptide C23 attenuates eCIRP‐induced microglial efferocytic ...

ABSTRACT Diabetic stroke is characterized by a hyperglycemic and pro‐inflammatory microenvironment that exacerbates neurovascular dysfunction. However, the blood–brain barrier (BBB) remains a formidable obstacle, restricting the delivery of most therapeutic molecules.

ProMetNet introduces a biologically constrained deep learning framework for proteo‐metabolomic integration by embedding Reactome‐derived pathway topology into neural networks. It captures non‐linear molecular dependencies and pathway‐level metabolic reorganization, enabling interpretable discrimination.

Peptide‐inspired associative polymers with arginine‐like guanidinium stickers and lysine‐like ammonium spacers undergo chain collapse and liquid‐liquid phase separation induced by reversible sticker associations. Sticker valence and tunable association strength jointly control the phase behavior, chain conformation, and interfacial cohesion of these ...

Tame Galois realizations of $ GL_2(\Bbb F_l)$ over $\Bbb Q$
This paper concerns the tame inverse Galois problem. For each prime number l, we construct infinitely many semistable elliptic curves over Q with good supersingular reduction at l. The Galois action on the l-torsion points of these elliptic curves provides tame Galois realizations of GL_2(F_l) over Q.

A Small‐Molecule DEPTAC Rescues Cognitive Deficits by Targeted Dephosphorylation of Pathological Tau
TP2 is a fully synthetic small‐molecule dephosphorylation‐targeting chimera that recruits endogenous PP2A‐Bα to Tau, enabling targeted removal of pathological phosphate modifications. In two tauopathy mouse models, systemic TP2 reduces Tau pathology, preserves neuronal and synaptic integrity, improves neuroimmune homeostasis, and rescues cognition ...
