Hydrogel-based microfluidic model of the blood-brain barrier: progress and future perspectives
The development of brain-targeted delivery systems is significantly hindered by the blood-brain barrier (BBB), which prevents drugs from effectively reaching therapeutic regions in the brain.

Therapeutic Applications of Stimuli‐Based Release and Engineering of Extracellular Vesicles
This review summarizes the effects of endogenous and exogenous stimuli, their effects on the natural release of extracellular vesicles, as well as their uptake and release. It also gives an overview of stimuli‐responsive EVs and their therapeutic applications. Extracellular vesicles (EVs), nano‐ to microsized lipid bilayer membrane‐bound particles, are

OCA and towers in $\Cal P(\Bbb N)/fin$
summary:We shall show that Open Coloring Axiom has different influence on the algebra $\Cal P(\Bbb N)/fin$ than on $\Bbb N^\Bbb N/fin$.

A fully protein‐based hydrogel integrated two orthogonal photoreceptors to enable reversible manipulation of stiffness with red/far‐red light and irreversible gel‐sol transitions with green light. Unexpectedly, high‐intensity red light results in attenuated stiffening and dark‐adaptation, arising from increased crosslinking dynamics in the ...

Blood-brain barrier disruption: a culprit of cognitive decline?
Cognitive decline covers a broad spectrum of disorders, not only resulting from brain diseases but also from systemic diseases, which seriously influence the quality of life and life expectancy of patients. As a highly selective anatomical and functional

Efficacy, safety and cost‐effectiveness of CAR‐T therapy
CAR T‐cells demonstrate high efficacy in blood cancers, including ALL, MM and DLBCL. Innovations target solid tumours despite challenges such as antigen escape. Combination therapies enhance the delivery and infiltration of CAR T cells. Toxicity, cost and resistance remain major barriers to clinical use.

Abstract Aim Mebendazole (MBZ), a benzimidazole anthelmintic with established clinical use, has emerged as a repurposing candidate for primary brain tumours due to its multimodal anticancer actions and central nervous system penetrance. This systematic review synthesizes preclinical and clinical evidence evaluating MBZ's efficacy, mechanisms of action ...
